EN1276 is the European Standard for evaluation to determine the antimicrobial efficacy of disinfectants and antiseptics in accordance with the European standard NF EN1276. This is equivalent to the South African 1828 mark.

This certification is valid in the entire Europe no matter which country you are in. BS EN 1276: Proof of bactericidal efficacy. BS EN1276 is the European standard for the bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants.  In order to pass this standard, products must prove a bacteria kill rate of 99.999% within 5 minutes.
